Servant Singers is a volunteer choir made up of First Pres retirees. They practice for six weeks in the spring and in the fall, then “tour” local care facilities to minister to residents. First Pres was one of the 8 founding churches that started ESM. We collect food to help stock their food pantry every first Sunday of the month. Bring in anything from canned or boxed goods, laundry detergent, diapers, Bibles, or maybe even a teddy bear. Carts will be placed in the Plaza and in the Weber Street parking lot.

Life and Safety creates a safe and secure environment for the people of First Pres, and serves as a caring presence for neighbors experiencing homelessness or other difficult circumstances who visit our facilities.
We serve hundreds of grilled cheese sandwiches to Palmer High School students every Monday. Many volunteers are needed from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to help grill, clean up, greet kids and fellowship.
