Children's Ministries Schedule Beginning March 26

Posted by Danny Shaw on with 1 Comments

Children’s Ministries supports parents and families as they raise their children, age preschool to fourth grade, in the faith. We love to share with children how much God loves them. And we have a lot of fun while we’re at it!

Sunday School is offered during the 10 a.m. hour on Sundays.

Preschool and Elementary Check-In

Sunday morning Check-In stations are available near the Weber Street entrance in the Plaza, and on the second and third floors. Parents attending the 8:30 a.m. service in the Sanctuary or 9 a.m. service in the Worship Center are encouraged to check their children in prior to worship.

Creation Station Sunday School

Age 3-5

On Sunday mornings, preschoolers (potty-trained kids ages 3-5 and not in kindergarten) meet in the Creation Station on the second floor to interact with the foundational stories of Scripture in a colorful, fun environment.

Drop-off is at 9:50 a.m. Programming will be over by 10:55 a.m. and pick-up immediately follows.

The Connection Sunday School

K-4th grade

On Sunday mornings, kindergarteners through fourth graders meet at The Connection on the third floor to learn get to know God through His Word in a variety of fun ways.

Drop-off for programming begins at 9:50 a.m. in the 3rd floor gym. Music starts in the gym for all students at 9:55. At 10:05 a.m. students head to their individual rooms for a 35-minute lesson. Pick up at 10:55 a.m.

Bible Break

Age 3-Kindergarten

Bible Break is offered for potty-trained 3-year-old through kindergarten kids during the 11 a.m. Contemporary Service in the Worship Center.

  • Children leave worship with an adult team after the Children’s Sermon.
  • Parents are asked to pick up their children immediately following the service on the second floor, room 236.
  • Elementary age children will remain in worship with their families and be given a worship bag of materials to help them engage in the service.
  • Students 5th grade and up can volunteer as Bible Break helpers on a rotational basis by contacting Kathy Dobyns.

The Bible Break was dicussed as being part of the 9:00am service. Is that still happening?
